(This is part of a journal entry I wrote yesterday about two of our rescue dogs.) We saved your dogs today. You brought in two perfectly healthy, loving labs and told us to destroy them or "whatever" we wanted to do with them. Your reason was that you were "moving out of state" and they were "too old". You looked us in the eye, told us their names, and walked out leaving a life time of love behind you.
