Midwest Horse Talk

I have someone who is interested in one of my geldings, but she's having a hard time finding a good hauler. I'm north of St Cloud, MN and she is located around Washington DC, so it will be about 1100 miles. Does anyone have some favorites they could recommend, that won't cost an arm and a leg? Thanks!

i loved blackshire equestrian. hauled two horses one from IL to MN (350 miles) and one from TX to IL (who knows milage). Both times horses arived in wonderful shape. Not stressed out. One is my boy of 12 years... I was nervous on hauling him in the first place... they were reasonable and well great with the horses. i could get ahold of the driver and if I left a message he called me right back. my boy has a hard time hauling and I gave them a heads up. come to find out he must have been comfortable cause he hauled like a champ! they have a website i believe blackshireequestrian.com. if I have to haul ever again...i'd only use them.

We had a horse hauled a few years ago from a couple out of Ogilvie, Mn that transported a horse to New York for us. I will have to find the name. I believe it was a Heidi & Jeff and they also sold Paint horses. Splashed with Paint?? Come to think of it...it think of it I haven't gotten any emails from them for a while.

The name of the farm in Ogilvie is Splashed With Black paint horses, and it is Jeff and Heidi Owens. I'm sure you can google them and find the number. They did just send out an email letting people know that they were changing their web address, so their old site is probably gone.
